Peter Witherington grew up in the East Bay, is a maritime lawyer and has sailed with various members of BYC. He has an Olson 29, is interested in racing and is happy to help around the club in any way that he can. He has volunteered at a member dinner and did race committee.
David Poon came to Berkeley 30 years ago to attend Cal and is now an optometrist. He started sailing during the pandemic, has started racing and did mid-winters. He started beer can races this summer and bought a boat with Peter Witherington. Their boat is on O dock. David enjoyed volunteering for a Friday night dinner and has attended a member's dinner.
Terry Taplin grew up in Berkeley, spent summers on the waterfront and is a Berkeley Council member. He joined Cal Sailing, is interested in marina issues, wants to be a liaison between relevant parties and is happy to volunteer in many areas. Terry has been to Friday night races and volunteered for the end of summer party.
James Houston moved back to Bay Area to take over a land surveying business. He was born in Berkeley, loves the water and used to be a hydrographic surveyor. He cooked the meats for the last Oktoberfest. James is also a member of Modern Sailing.
