The Ties that Bind Us

Greetings BYCers... I’m super pumped to announce the inauguration of a new committee at BYC. The Social Committee is open to anyone who is good at, enjoys, or wants to learn how to help support the social goals of the club.
In practical terms, this could mean supporting our monthly member dinners, other club-based gatherings, external events, or even getting creative to help draw us together as a club and as lovers of the water in ways that have never been done before.
Since this is a new committee (or at least resurrected after long-term dormancy), I’d like to ask anyone who wants to know more to join the Slack #social-committee channel where we will soon begin to lay out next steps. If you know of someone who may be interested but cannot reach them directly, let me know and I’ll be happy to reach out.
The club needs each of us to contribute in our own way to help it be its best. I look forward to strengthening the ties of friendship and camaraderie that bind us together and help to make BYC one of the best/funkiest yacht clubs there is!
