Member Appreciation & Old Salts Dinner

Commodore Graeme Lowe and the 2025 Flag Officers and Board of Directors invite you to the Old Salts Dinner to honor those who have been members 25 years or more.

If you joined Berkeley Yacht Club in 2000 (when Sue Fry was Commodore) you are honored as an Old Salt this year. This year Gordon and Betty Towell will be recognized for 55 years as members of Berkeley Yacht Club.

We are preparing a special dinner for the membership meeting that you are sure to enjoy. You will be receiving a formal invitation to the Old Salts Dinner with your choice of entrees. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, May 17. Berkeley Yacht Club looks forward to celebrating some very special members who have supported the club, both on the water and on land.

If you are a new member, you can have fun hearing the stories, seeing pictures, and learning more about some of the fun facts of how much the first clubhouse cost, like the submarine under the clubhouse and members who have circumnavigated. Come and join us in honoring our longtime members who have built this club from the ground up.
