We are excited to announce the establishment of Berkeley Yacht Club’s Historical Preservation Committee, committed to safeguarding our club's rich maritime history and ensuring the preservation of valuable artifacts.
Over the years, Berkeley Yacht Club has accumulated a treasure trove of historical items that tell the story of our club's legacy. To protect these artifacts and prevent unnecessary clutter, we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our Historical Preservation Committee.
How You Can Contribute:
If you have a passion for history, an eye for detail, and a love for Berkeley Yacht Club, we invite you to become a part of this important initiative. As a committee member, you will play a crucial role in cataloging, preserving, and showcasing our club's history for generations to come.
Key Responsibilities:
Catalog and document historical artifacts.
Assist in organizing and displaying historical materials.
Collaborate on preservation projects to maintain the integrity of our club's history.
How to Volunteer:
If you are interested in joining the Berkeley Yacht Club Historical Preservation Committee, please email our club manager at manager@berkeleyyc.org with the Subject: Preservation Committee. Express your interest and you will receive more information about upcoming meetings and opportunities to get involved.
Our first meeting will be Wednesday, February 14, at 6:00pm.
