In addition to many members competing as crew in the fun race to Hawaii, three boats raced under the BYC burgee in the 2024 Pacific Cup —James Isbester’s J/105 Energy, Cree Partridge’s Antrim 40 Glass Slipper and Wyatt Jones’ Davidson 44 Imagine, which unfortunately retired early due to problems with their steering pedestal.
And many BYC Members, including Betty Gray, Bob Gray and Paul Kamen, participated on the Pac Cup Committee, organizing the race and running the starts which occur on different days to accommodate various boat sizes and speeds. Hawkeye King is this year’s Commodore of Pacific Cup Yacht Club. Bravo Zulu everyone!
