The BYC Board of Directors held a special Skype meeting Tuesday, March 17th to address the current COVID-19 directives. Decisions were made based on the mandate to shelter in place and to close all non-essential businesses. Therefore the BYC will remain closed to all members until further notice. If you have a special "need" to enter the club, to retrieve something, or have an emergency you may contact the General Manager Philip Strause by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 510-883-3684 (texting is preferred) or leave a message on the club answering machine. Messages will be picked up regularly. For those members who have mail delivered to the club please be in contact with GM Philip Strause to coordinate pickup. All upcoming events are canceled until further notice, these include the club cleanup, swap meet, Wheeler Regatta, PICYA Meeting, and other racing events. Look out for an email in the coming days regarding March's corporation meeting. This will be held via an online video conference in which we hope you will attend. This email will also have details of items to vote on if you have not already done so.
